Currently we participate in the newly created Wisconsin Esports Conference against other universities in Wisconsin. We are exploring other conferences and game titles. All are welcome!

Interesting in competing in Esports?

LU Esports Lounge

Join your friends for competitive gaming in the LU Esports Lounge located in the lower level of Memorial Hall.

  • Open daily from 4 to 10 p.m. (Hours are subject to change);
  • Reserve a gaming time slot
  • Nintendo Switch and PC games are available to play, including League of Legends (Riot Games), Valorant (Riot Games), Rocket League (Epic Games), and Counter-Strike (Steam). Other titles will be added.

     

Treat staff, equipment and other users with respect. This means:

  • No abusive language or behavior, such as yelling, threats, bullying, harassment or intimidation.
  • Use the equipment in the Esports Lounge carefully and only as intended. Users are responsible for repair or replacement of misused equipment.
  • Players are welcome to bring their own keyboards, mice and headsets to use in the Lounge, but please reset the Lounge’s equipment when you are finished.
  • No food or drink is allowed in the Lounge except lidded water bottles.
  • Do not use the computers for any other purpose besides gaming (no YouTube, Twitch, web browsing, etc). Please do not download games or software.
  • Computers may be reserved for group rentals at certain times. If you receive a message that your PC will be in use during the time you intend to play, please plan to use a different machine.

     

Esports Lounge staff have final discretion in enforcing these guidelines and applying disciplinary actions, including asking users to leave the space and/or extended suspensions from the Esports Lounge. The lounge is overseen by Student Life. Best practices and wellness considerations are posted in the lounge.
