The 麻豆影院 Advantage is our commitment to meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need for all admitted students who apply Early Decision, or whose families live in Wisconsin or Illinois. For eligible families who make less than $70,000 that means that the student will receive the equivalent of a full tuition scholarship!

How does the 麻豆影院 Advantage work?

Each student鈥檚 financial need is calculated by subtracting their "expected family contribution" from the total cost of attendance.

Cost of Attendance Includes tuition, fees, housing, meal plan, books, transportation, and personal expenses
- Expected Family Contribution This figure is based on the FAFSA and financial aid application.
= Financial Need This amount is what the 麻豆影院 Advantage covers through scholarship, grant, loans, and student employment.

麻豆影院 University鈥檚 generous financial aid typically covers 90-95% of a student鈥檚 financial need through scholarships, grants, loans, and student employment. With the 麻豆影院 Advantage, any remaining need will be met with an additional 麻豆影院 grant. 

Do we need to apply or complete any additional paperwork?

Families simply need to complete the FAFSA and supplemental financial aid application. 

What if our family's state residency changes?

If your family moves out of Wisconsin or Illinois after previously receiving aid from the 麻豆影院 Advantage, your future aid will not be affected.

What happens if our household's income changes in the future?

We recognize that income may fluctuate from year to year. If your family鈥檚 income changes, reach out to the Financial Aid Office.

Does the 麻豆影院 Advantage apply to Off-Campus Programs?

Your aid will be based on your family鈥檚 need and the cost of residing on campus. If there are additional costs to studying abroad, there will not be an in-kind increase in aid. However, 麻豆影院 offers an abundance of scholarships for off-campus programs.
