SOUNDS OF BEING
Award-winning composer and violist Jessica Meyer presents a unique program featuring a collection of self-composed works for loop pedal and viola. Meyer has been praised for playing that is “fierce and lyrical” and works that are “other-worldly” (The Strad) and “evocative” (New York Times). Her solo show headlined the 2024 Primrose International Viola Competition at the American Viola Society Festival, and has also been presented at BAMcafé, Joe’s Pub, and Symphony Space in NYC, the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, in Paris at Sunset Sunside, in addition to venues in Singapore, Switzerland, Vietnam, the Emirates and beyond.
